About the role
GEMS Education is seeking a passionate Year 1 teacher to join its Sharjah campus in September. The successful candidate will create an engaging and inspiring learning environment for primary students and contribute to the school’s high‑quality curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the National Curriculum for England to Year 1 pupils.
- Foster a positive, dynamic classroom atmosphere that motivates learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues across phases and communicate effectively with parents.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education (mandatory) and PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching primary students, preferably with the National Curriculum for England.
- Exceptional subject knowledge and a positive, can‑do attitude.
Required skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong IT proficiency for classroom use.
- Good command of English.
