Academic Advising Systems Coordinator - One Month Contract

About the role

The Academic Advising Systems Coordinator supports the Academic Support Center in implementing and maintaining AUS’s advising platform, Stellic. Working closely with the Director, IT, the Registrar, and college deans, the coordinator ensures accurate degree audit rules and catalogue information.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation, configuration, and ongoing development of the Stellic advising system.
• Act as the primary liaison between the ASC, IT, the Office of the Registrar, colleges, and academic advisors on system‑related matters.
• Develop, test, and maintain degree audit rules and academic program data within Stellic.
• Ensure data accuracy, functionality, and timely updates of advising information.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the ASC Director within the scope of a part‑time contract.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• High level of computer literacy and aptitude for learning new technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Organizational, time‑management, and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical, reasoning, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with university environments, academic advising, and higher‑education terminology.
