Account Manager - Service Sales Energy (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Alfa Laval is hiring an Account Manager for its Heat Exchanger business, covering the HVAC and Energy markets. The role is based in Abu Dhabi and focuses on growing the business by developing relationships with end users, packagers and skid builders, acquiring new business and increasing market penetration. It is a highly customer-facing position acting as the commercial lead for assigned accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Handle direct sales from inquiry to order for assigned accounts, generating and nurturing leads into orders
• Drive and own frame/fleet agreements to maximise efficiency and growth
• Collaborate with Business Development, P&A and the Business Unit to grow the business
• Engage regularly with customers in person, understand their needs and deliver product and service value
• Follow established sales processes, develop value-based quotes and follow up on them
• Provide direct support to customers during the quotation process
• Conduct regular account reviews, stay aware of competitor activity and use CRM and other tools consistently
• Build a broad network across key customer organisations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred
• 6+ years of sales experience in Oil & Gas, Energy or HVAC industries
• Proven track record in sales and negotiation, especially key account management
• Customer-focused, with strong business acumen, networking, relationship building and key account management skills
