Pricing Manager

About the role

Etihad Airways is looking for a Pricing Manager who will help achieve maximum possible revenue by defining the quantities of Etihad products to sell and setting the most optimal prices for each market segment. The role relies on accurate forecasting of consumer demand and selling fares.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver monthly revenue performance against agreed revenue targets and ensure optimal revenue for the network.
• Set optimal prices by market segment for Etihad's products and services according to a pricing strategy versus benchmark carriers, with the buy-in of Market Managers and in line with pricing policies.
• Manage and forecast demand across pricing levels, focusing on revenue maximisation during high-demand holiday periods and special events.
• Ensure the accuracy of forecasted consumer demand and selling fares, which feed the revenue management optimisation engine.
• Make daily decisions to adjust price and demand levels proactively, based on current market and economic factors and competitor behaviour.
• Evaluate pricing requests from key commercial stakeholders and set prices using logical, fact-based analysis.
• Contribute to the development of customer-centric product offerings and manage revenue management operations to deliver commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Degree-level education or equivalent relevant analytical experience.
• 5 years of working experience in a numerate and analytical role.

Required skills

• High familiarity with airline systems such as PROS, Origin & Destination Systems, GDS, MIDT and management accounting reports.
