Accountant – ACCA/CA Qualified (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Finance & Accounts professional with 5‑6 years of UAE experience to join a fast‑growing deep‑tech intelligence holding company. The role will manage end‑to‑end accounting, ensure compliance with UAE VAT and corporate tax laws, and support accurate financial reporting under IFRS.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, including general ledger, journals, and supporting schedules in line with IFRS.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Execute month‑end close, accruals, provisions and reconcile key balance‑sheet items.
• Process supplier invoices, manage payment runs and maintain AP aging.
• Raise customer invoices, monitor receivables and enforce credit control measures.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment, prepare and submit UAE VAT returns, and support corporate tax compliance.
• Apply IFRS standards to revenue recognition, leases, provisions and financial instruments.
• Implement and maintain internal controls and identify process‑improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support internal audit activities.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualified, or equivalent professional qualification.
• 5‑6 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, corporate tax regulations and IFRS.
• Proven ability to manage full accounting cycles and produce accurate financial reports.
