Financial Accountant

About the role

The Financial Accountant will join a client‑focused advisory firm in Dubai, preparing, reviewing and analysing financial statements to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance across UAE and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank and inter‑company accounts.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, and assist with tax computations and filings.
• Provide documentation for audit processes, respond to auditor queries, and collaborate with consultants on client‑focused accounting solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, immediate availability, and currently based in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of finance and financial reporting, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

• Proficiency with accounting software and general accounting processes.
• Bookkeeping and account reconciliations.
• Variance analysis and financial performance assessment.
• Understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax environment.
