Accountant – End-to-End Accounting & Distributor Claims

About the role

Galderma is seeking an Accountant to join its Dubai team. The role covers end‑to‑end accounting activities, from general ledger posting to month‑end close, distributor claim validation and accrual management, while supporting audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Validate distributor rebate claims and manage accrual‑based business models.
• Provide audit support and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with commercial, supply‑chain, shared services and external partners.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing controls and processes.
• Support and train offshore accounting team members.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of relevant accounting experience (approximately 36 months).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage complex accounting processes end‑to‑end.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and communicating with both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
