Accountant – Finance Operations (Dubai)

About the role

The Accountant will join BluRock’s Dubai office, supporting the financial management of ultra‑luxury development projects. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate day‑to‑day accounting and provides insights for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, and perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Track expenses and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records, assist with internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Collaborate with project teams, operations, and leadership to deliver timely financial insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) are a plus.
• Strong proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for project and organizational planning.
• Familiarity with accounting software and SAP ERP systems; advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Understanding of IFRS, UAE tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
• Prior experience in real estate, hospitality or construction sectors, especially in luxury or high‑end developments, is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site in Dubai and manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
