Accountant – Finance Team (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Abu Dhabi. The position is onsite and will support all core accounting operations, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and daily accounting entries.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist in VAT return preparation and corporate tax returns.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accurate financial reporting.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager.

Required profile

• B.Com degree with CA Finalist or ACCA accreditation.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Previous UAE work experience in a similar role.
• Valid driving license (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
