Accountant – Financial Operations & Reporting

About the role

The Accountant will manage day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate accounting records and supporting month‑end reporting. This position works closely with internal teams such as Operations, HR and Management to provide reliable financial data.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger entries, journal postings and daily accounting records.
• Process vendor invoices, customer payments, reconciliations and ageing reports (AP & AR).
• Prepare and verify bank reconciliations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Assist with VAT calculations, return preparation and documentation.
• Support corporate tax filing by maintaining required records and coordinating with auditors.
• Contribute to monthly closing, MIS preparation and variance analysis.
• Organise financial records, invoices, statements and audit files.
• Update entries in ERP/Accounting software such as Tally, Zoho or QuickBooks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2–3 years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT and corporate tax processes.
• Strong communication, accuracy and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and basic formulas.
