Accountant – Financial Reporting & Intercompany

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to support financial reporting, consolidation and audit activities for a 6‑month contract (extendable). The role will focus on month‑end close, intercompany accounting and IFRS‑compliant reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end close: journal entries, accruals, checklists and monthly reporting packs.
• Assist in quarterly and annual financial reporting, including disclosures, schedules and cross‑referencing.
• Coordinate with external auditors, respond to queries and manage audit data requests.
• Prepare and post intercompany elimination entries and maintain audit trails for group consolidation.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve open items.
• Review and clear bank reconciliations, addressing outstanding items.
• Oversee intercompany billing, ensuring proper documentation and timely execution.
• Act as finance representative in the ICFR cycle, supporting documentation and remediation.
• Participate in ERP‑related projects and finance process improvements.
• Support ad‑hoc finance initiatives as required.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of finance/accounting experience, including approximately 3 years in external audit.
• Partly or fully qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CPA preferred).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proven experience in financial close, reconciliations and intercompany accounting.
