Accountant – General Ledger, AP/AR & Taxation

About the role

The Accountant will support the Finance team by preparing financial reports, managing ledger entries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role covers the full spectrum of accounting activities, from bank reconciliations to payroll preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger (GL) entries with accuracy.
• Process and post invoices per project, manage accounts payable and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor and customer accounts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities and support audit requirements.
• Handle payroll preparation and ensure compliance with ICV certification documentation.
• Assist with tax filings (VAT, corporate tax, payroll tax) and regulatory reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial statements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and business acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
