About the role
The school is seeking an experienced accountant to manage accounts receivable, support budgeting, and ensure timely financial reporting. This position works closely with the Principal and HQ finance team to maintain financial excellence.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate Accounts Receivable GL entries and collect payments by due dates.
- Support the Principal in building and modifying the school budget and review monthly MIS.
- Process tuition, exam, trip, and other invoices accurately and on schedule.
- Contact parents daily for payment follow‑up and issue receipts for bank reconciliation.
- Manage petty cash in line with company policies and provide receipt data to the Treasury Accountant.
- Coordinate with HQ finance for annual budget preparation and monthly closing activities.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of finance experience or a professional qualification with 2+ years in a similar role.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
