Accountant

About the role

Elite Shine, a premier automotive detailing company, is looking for an experienced Accountant in Dubai to manage its financial operations. The role covers bookkeeping, VAT compliance, payroll processing and financial reporting, in line with UAE financial regulations and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate VAT returns in compliance with FTA requirements.
• Manage daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Process monthly payroll and ensure compliance with the Wage Protection System (WPS).
• Prepare periodic financial reports and cash flow statements for management.
• Maintain accurate, organized and audit-ready financial records.
• Ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations and financial reporting standards, and monitor financial transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• 2-4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, including hands-on VAT and tax filing.
• Strong understanding of UAE financial regulations, VAT requirements, FTA procedures and WPS compliance.
• Excellent English communication, analytical thinking, accuracy, organization and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in accounting software, bookkeeping systems and financial reporting tools.
