Accountant – Manufacturing

About the role

A Dubai-based manufacturing company is looking for a qualified Accountant to join its finance team. The role covers daily accounting transactions, accurate financial records, month-end reporting and compliance with accounting procedures. Candidates with inventory accounting experience and a valid UAE driving licence are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments and receipts
• Process financial transactions using Odoo ERP
• Perform bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Manage inventory-related accounting and support BOM preparation
• Support internal and external audits and keep proper financial documentation
• Ensure compliance with accounting procedures and UAE requirements

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory
• Experience in inventory management and BOM preparation
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (mandatory)
• General accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail
• Good communication and organisational skills
