Accountant – Odoo & Project Finance

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our Dubai office, focusing on Odoo-driven financial management and project‑based finance for a design consultancy. The role goes beyond bookkeeping, requiring deep understanding of project contracts, variations, invoicing and unbilled work.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Odoo as the single source of truth for all accounting activities, including multi‑company and multi‑currency transactions.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, monthly closing, and preparation of management reports.
• Oversee UAE VAT, corporate tax compliance, and payroll accounting (WPS).
• Control project financials: WIP, unbilled fees, variations, invoicing and collections.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on accounting experience, preferably in architectural, engineering, interior or lighting design firms.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, VAT and corporate tax.
• Proven ability to handle project‑based accounting and financial control.
