Accountant – Sharjah, UAE

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Al Hamriya Free Zone, Sharjah. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting operations and supporting the finance department with accurate record‑keeping and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily accounting transactions and maintain up‑to‑date financial records.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
• Prepare and assist in the production of financial reports and statements.
• Ensure all accounting entries comply with established procedures and UAE regulations.
• Support routine finance operations and provide administrative assistance as needed.
• Supply management with required financial information and reporting.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field (Diploma acceptable).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and UAE financial procedures.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate with a team.
