Accountant – UAE VAT & Bookkeeping (Dubai)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to manage the financial operations of two entities in Dubai, handling full‑cycle bookkeeping, VAT compliance and cost control. The role involves close interaction with both the meal‑planning and construction sides of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, compute and submit quarterly UAE VAT returns via the FTA portal, including full input/output reconciliations.
• Maintain complete ledgers, journals and books of accounts for both companies.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash‑flow tracking and bank reconciliations.
• Generate monthly financial reports, expense variance analysis and internal balance sheets.
• Coordinate external audit processes and support basic PRO administrative duties.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on accounting experience in the UAE.
• Valid UAE driving licence and current residence in Dubai.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Diploma accepted if combined with relevant experience).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with UAE‑standard accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE VAT filing and FTA portal procedures.
