Accounting & Fiscal Supervisor (Senior Accountant – Payables)

About the role

The Accounting & Fiscal Supervisor will lead the payables function for a large industrial construction project in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the finance manager, the role ensures accurate processing of payments, bank reconciliations and compliance with trade and guarantee documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post bank and cash vouchers in SAP.
• Execute SAP payment runs and monitor payment status.
• Update and maintain trade and bank guarantee documentation.
• Handle banking correspondence and maintain records of powers of attorney.
• Perform bank reconciliations and generate cash‑related reports.
• Track vendor payments, coordinate required documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Produce trade and guarantee reporting as required.
• Support other AFC‑related activities as needed.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in finance, accounting or a related discipline.
• 12‑15 years of relevant experience, including work on large or XL gas plant projects.
• Proven experience in at least two similar projects of comparable size.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with solid management and problem‑resolution skills.

• SAP (payment processing and voucher posting).
