Airport Supervisor – AMM

About the role

The Airport Supervisor supports the Airport Manager in overseeing daily airport operations at the Dubai station, ensuring safety, security, on‑time performance and efficient workflow in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Airport Manager in monitoring operational and security functions and reporting deviations.
• Supervise briefings, ramp, check‑in, safety and security activities, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Liaise with Flight Operations, MCC and ground handling agents to manage AOG, emergencies and service recovery.
• Report incidents, accidents and dangerous‑goods events to the Airport Manager and relevant authorities.
• Monitor ground handling service level agreements, performance data and baggage handling system, and resolve customer complaints.
• Support quality‑assurance, safety and security audits and ensure corrective actions are taken.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management/Administration or equivalent; relevant diplomas with experience are acceptable.
• 3‑5 years of experience in airlines/aviation ground handling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, civil aviation authority rules and low‑cost airline operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Passenger Handling System and Departure Control System (DCS).
• Familiarity with airport safety and security procedures and IATA DGR.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite and internet research tools.
