Arabic Copywriter & Program Manager

About the role

A leading live events and cultural management organisation in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Arabic Copywriter & Program Manager. The role combines expert Arabic copywriting with programme management, covering high-level Arabic content such as executive speeches, op-eds, press releases and cultural publications, while overseeing major literary, cultural and community engagement initiatives. It also involves government stakeholder relations and national identity initiatives aligned with the UAE's cultural strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Draft executive-level Arabic speeches, official statements, op-eds, press releases, media interviews and formal correspondence for senior leaders and dignitaries.
• Write, review and edit Arabic content for event collateral, publications, annual reports, art and exhibition catalogs, digital platforms and brochures, and create digital content, scripts and multi-channel media strategies.
• Oversee annual literary, publishing, translation and authorship programmes with UAE and regional publishers, authors and intellectuals.
• Build partnerships with cultural entities, language centres, writer associations and publishing bodies, and plan initiatives for national literary occasions and book fairs.
• Supervise community initiatives on national identity and cultural legacy, direct media leadership training for young talents, and build an ambassador network of media personalities and cultural influencers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language & Literature, Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations or Cultural Studies; a Master's is strongly preferred.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in Arabic content development, media or cultural programme management, including at least 3 years in a managerial or managerial-track role.
• Proven track record in the UAE cultural sector, government cultural entities, Arabic language centres, literary institutions, publishing houses or specialised media organisations.

Required skills

• Native-level command of classical Arabic (Fusha) with a portfolio of speechwriting, press releases and literary editing.
• Fluent English.
• Hands-on experience in programme planning, budget oversight and project lifecycle execution, with an established network of cultural institutions, publishers and media professionals.
