Assistant Accountant

About the role

CASTECH MIDDLE EAST FZE is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join its Finance Department in Sharjah. The role suits fresh graduates and junior accounting professionals who want to build their skills in a professional environment. The successful candidate will help with daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, support documentation processes and contribute to accurate reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting entries and financial transactions
• Assist with invoices, payment vouchers and other financial documentation
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Support bank reconciliation and financial reporting
• Keep accounting records and files accurate
• Provide administrative assistance to the Finance Department and support daily finance operations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field; fresh graduates are welcome
• 1-2 years of accounting experience is an added advantage
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting skills
• Female candidates only; Filipino nationality preferred, others welcome

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• Basic accounting principles
