Assistant Executive Housekeeper

About the role

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a motivated Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support overall housekeeping operations. You will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, apartments, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring brand and service standards are consistently met.
• Supervise and inspect guest rooms, apartments, public areas and back‑of‑house areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Coordinate manpower planning, duty rosters and team deployment based on occupancy and operational needs.
• Coach, develop and supervise housekeeping team members to maintain high performance.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to ensure timely room readiness and resolve maintenance issues.
• Monitor inventory of linen, uniforms, guest supplies and cleaning materials, controlling costs.
• Support budgeting, productivity monitoring and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, health, safety, hygiene and security requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership, team management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving abilities and command of English.
• Previous UAE or Middle East hospitality experience is an advantage.
