Assistant Manager – Facilities Management

About the role

Transguard Group is seeking an Assistant Manager – Facilities Management to support the Facilities Manager in overseeing day‑to‑day operations of all FM services in Dubai. The role ensures the facility is maintained, functional and safe, while delivering services in line with contractual SLA/KPI requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly operational and financial reports and monitor contract performance against SLA/KPI targets.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, vendor and contractor management, housekeeping and soft services, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.
• Plan transport and accommodation logistics, manage procurement in line with policies, and oversee specialist service contractors.
• Conduct staff induction, training, and performance monitoring; record training in personnel files.
• Lead client liaison, regular site visits, and client meetings to maintain high service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, energy management projects and technology integration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing structured FM contracts with both hard and soft services.
• Professional certifications preferred (IOSH, NEBOSH, CFM, PMP).
• Valid driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAFM systems.
• Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Technical knowledge of FM standards, processes and housekeeping/cleaning services.
