Assistant Manager – Internal Audit (Automotive)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will support Al‑Futtaim Group’s automotive division in ensuring robust internal controls and compliance across its operations in Dubai. Working under the Audit Manager, the role involves planning, executing and reporting audit assignments in line with group policies and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing the annual audit plan by assessing risk levels across business segments.
• Design detailed audit programmes, outlining risks, controls and test procedures.
• Perform internal audit fieldwork to evaluate the effectiveness of controls and operational performance.
• Review approval processes to verify compliance with group policies and delegation of authority.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System and prepare professional audit reports.
• Communicate preliminary findings to relevant staff and management, and support the preparation of executive summaries for senior leadership.
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow‑up on corrective actions.
• Utilise computer‑based audit techniques and data‑analytics tools to expand audit coverage.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across functions.

• Proficiency with audit management software and data‑analytics tools.
