Assistant Manager – Internal Audit (Automotive)

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will support Al-Futtaim Group’s automotive division by ensuring internal controls are effective and aligned with group policies and international standards. This role combines audit execution, risk assessment, and data‑analytics to protect assets and provide actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Audit Manager in developing the annual audit plan based on risk assessments.
• Design detailed audit programs outlining risks, controls, and testing procedures.
• Conduct internal audit assignments across business segments, evaluating control adequacy and performance quality.
• Review approval processes to ensure compliance with group policies and delegation of authority.
• Document audit work in the Audit Management System and prepare professional audit reports.
• Present preliminary findings to relevant staff and management, and follow up on recommendation implementation.
• Support special assignments, fraud investigations, and use data‑analytics tools to broaden audit coverage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit data‑analytics tools such as Tableau.
• Experience using Power BI for audit reporting and visualisation.
• Familiarity with an Audit Management System for documentation and tracking.
