Assistant Manager Internal Audit

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Internal Audit will lead multiple audit engagements, supervise junior staff, and work closely with business stakeholders to enhance audit processes and governance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver audit engagements across loss prevention, store, functional, and special reviews.
• Supervise Senior Auditors and Auditors, providing coaching, feedback, and technical guidance.
• Lead complex investigations and special reviews, coordinating with HR, Legal, and business units.
• Engage with business unit management, represent Internal Audit in meetings, and manage auditee expectations.
• Review and finalize audit reports, perform internal quality reviews, and track recommendation implementation.
• Assist in preparing Audit and Risk Committee packs and updating audit policies, charter, and methodology.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of internal audit experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced report writing and communication abilities.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodology and risk assessment.
