Assistant Manager - Liabilities & Accounts

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Liabilities & Accounts will lead a sales team to grow the retail bank's liability portfolio, including deposits, CASA, payroll accounts and cross‑selling of loans, credit cards and bancassurance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute medium‑term sales plans to achieve budgeted volumes for liability products, fixed deposits, CASA balances and payroll accounts.
• Manage recruitment, training, performance monitoring and retention of the sales team.
• Coordinate with other bank departments to ensure seamless service delivery and compliance with AML, sanctions and CTF policies.
• Monitor daily team activities, implement sales incentives, and provide market intelligence to drive acquisition of new‑to‑bank customers.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree with over 10 years of diversified management experience in sales, marketing, business development and client relationship management.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership abilities, capable of motivating large teams and meeting tight deadlines.
• In‑depth knowledge of banking credit policies, operations and product programmes.

Required skills

• High level computer proficiency.
