Assistant Manager - Property QA/QC Engineer

About the role

The Quality Assistant Manager will lead the on‑site QA team, ensuring daily tasks are allocated and inspections are performed efficiently. Reporting to the QA Vice‑President, the role bridges field operations with senior management to maintain high quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the on‑site platform for new projects, providing all necessary workflows and project details.
• Lead and supervise the QA team daily, assigning tasks and clarifying responsibilities.
• Ensure the team has access to required tools and equipment, and maintain an asset register log.
• Conduct internal audits twice per project life‑cycle to assess compliance and identify improvements.
• Guarantee timely completion of scheduled inspections and quality assurance activities.
• Communicate technical quality issues to the QA Manager and Head of Department.
• Report significant quality concerns to the broader project team.
• Prepare and submit weekly progress reports on inspections, audits, and related activities.
• Maintain accurate records of all quality‑related actions and ensure full utilisation of the on‑site quality management system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in QA/QC, construction supervision or property handover within the UAE.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent planning, workload management and attention to detail.
• Resilient under pressure, especially during peak handover periods.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of building finishes and MEP systems.
• Proficiency with snagging platforms and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory bodies and handover compliance procedures.
• Experience conducting QA/QC inspections and internal audits.
