Assistant Manager – Quality, Health, Safety, Environment & Technical Excellence

About the role

Ensure that all installation, maintenance and operational activities are performed in strict compliance with QHSE standards, project specifications and international regulations while driving technical excellence, reducing MTBC and supporting operations through training, technical support and quality assurance before handover.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall QHSE and Technical Excellence strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Establish a Technical Excellence Centre to support operational performance and reliability.
• Oversee implementation of QHSE policies, procedures and compliance across all projects.
• Provide on‑site and remote technical support to maintenance and installation teams.
• Lead quality control inspections, testing and defect‑free handovers to clients.
• Monitor equipment performance, drive MTBC reduction and manage corrective actions.
• Lead and develop QHSE engineers, QA/QC inspectors and technical specialists.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, root‑cause analysis and standardisation of processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• NEBOSH certification.
• Minimum 10 + years experience in the elevator/escalator industry or a similar sector.
• Strong background in QHSE, quality control and technical operations.
