Assistant Manager Quality & Sustainability

About the role

The Assistant Manager Quality & Sustainability will develop and manage Imdaad's EHSQ systems in line with UAE legislation and ISO standards. This role supports the EHSQ Manager in fostering a strong safety culture, conducting inspections, audits, and driving continuous improvement across all divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor EHSQ policies and procedures according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and legal requirements.
• Direct EHSQ training and oversee its delivery for all Imdaad divisions.
• Assist the EHSQ Manager with interpretation and administration of EHSQ policies.
• Propose improvements to methods, operations, systems and procedures related to EHSQ.
• Recommend initiatives to enhance the safety culture.
• Provide technical advice on EHSQ queries.
• Ensure regular EHSQ inspections and internal IMS audits are conducted.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and process improvements with employee participation.

Required profile

• PG/Bachelor’s or 3‑year diploma in Engineering or a relevant science.
• NEBOSH Level 6 or equivalent; preferably IOSH membership.
• Lead ISO Auditor certification for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• 10‑12 years of relevant experience, including 5‑7 years in a supervisory role and 7‑10 years of post‑qualifying EHS experience.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
