Assistant Manager, Social Media & PR

About the role

The Meydan Hotel, situated at Meydan Racecourse in Dubai, is looking for an Assistant Manager Social Media and PR. The role manages and elevates the hotel's digital presence across social media, overseeing content strategy, planning, execution and performance, while creating brand-aligned visual assets. It also supports PR activities such as media coordination, campaign support and brand storytelling.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives
• Plan and manage monthly content calendars across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
• Create engaging captions and oversee community management (comments, DMs, engagement)
• Monitor performance, prepare monthly reports and provide insights for optimization
• Oversee influencer activities and manage and coordinate digital media
• Stay up to date with trends, platform updates and emerging content formats
• Develop creative concepts, design high-quality visuals and ensure they follow brand guidelines and tone of voice
• Create marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, menus, presentations, digital banners and promotional materials
• Coordinate with media partners, publications and agencies; assist in drafting press releases, media invitations and brand communications
• Support internal reporting and procedures, and identify new visibility opportunities

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Marketing, Public Relations or a related field
• Diploma or certification in graphic design software
• Preferred: experience in Internet, eCommerce or digital marketing within hospitality or travel
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a marketing role at a 5-star hotel
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing, and experience with content management and web analytics
