Assistant Manager – Soft Services (Facilities Management)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – Soft Services to join our Total Facilities Management team in Dubai. The role supports daily division operations, ensuring high service levels for clients and customers while resolving any issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing budgets, expenses and inventory for cleaning operations, optimizing costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Handle customer complaints related to cleanliness, conduct regular facility inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Plan and organise daily cleaning schedules, supervise and train cleaning staff, and ensure performance feedback.
• Ensure preventive maintenance (PPM) and service requests (SR) are closed within target times.
• Collaborate on cleaning procedures, maintain records, and promote health and safety compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new cleaning techniques and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of facility management experience in a managerial role.
• At least 2 years managing mall operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management or equivalent and BICSc training certificate.
• Proven project management and continuous improvement project experience.

Required skills

• Knowledge of heavy‑duty cleaning machines.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Project management capabilities.
• Ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives.
