Estimation Engineer MEP

About the role

The Estimation Engineer – MEP is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, ensuring budgets align with client and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for MEP works.
• Review project drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Analyze material and labour requirements and coordinate pricing with suppliers and contractors.
• Support negotiations to optimise project costs and ensure timely submission of estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, design teams and procurement to maintain accurate budgets.

Required profile

• Strong project estimation and BOQ preparation skills with MEP experience.
• Background in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Effective negotiation, research and analytical abilities.
• Attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; knowledge of UAE market conditions is a plus.
