Assistant Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD)

About the role

The Assistant Nurse – OPD will provide patient‑centric, evidence‑based nursing care within the Outpatient Department, working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role ensures compliance with ethical and professional standards set by regulatory authorities and the company. It supports physicians in cardiology or endocrinology clinics and contributes to a safe, high‑quality care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care in collaboration with a multi‑professional team, following clinical standards and relevant legislation.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing, and managing risks in line with MCME risk policies.
• Create a positive patient experience by maintaining a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of nursing interventions.
• Adhere to infection‑control protocols and hygiene standards.
• Participate in risk‑assessment activities and continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Nursing Diploma (essential).
• Minimum two years of OPD experience.
• Experience assisting physicians in OPD Cardiology or OPD Endocrinology.
• Eligibility for UAE Emiratization program is preferred.
