Assistant Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Assistant Operations Supervisor supports the Operations Supervisor in managing resource allocation and catering logistics for Emirates Flight Catering. This role ensures that catering equipment and food items are prepared, dispatched, and loaded efficiently while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare resource allocation plans in collaboration with the Operations Supervisor based on demand.
• Coordinate timely delivery of catering equipment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Delegate and supervise team members during preparation, dispatch, and loading of catering items.
• Lead Behaviour Based Safety Management (BBSM) checks to minimise food safety hazards.
• Monitor inventory levels, track usage, and ensure availability of products and equipment.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in flight operations, food packing or logistics, preferably in airline catering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a team‑leader capacity (preferred).
