Assistant Relationship Manager – International Middle Market

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support Relationship Managers in delivering high‑quality, needs‑based banking services to international and internationally aspirant middle‑market customers in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in managing and growing a portfolio of international middle‑market customers.
• Prepare and coordinate customer relationship plans, account reviews, meetings and business development activities.
• Identify customer needs and coordinate solutions across cash management, trade, payments, foreign exchange, sustainable finance and wealth products.
• Assist with credit applications, annual reviews, facility documentation and monitoring of approved terms.
• Maintain high standards of customer service by completing KYC, monitoring account activity and escalating risk issues.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in corporate banking, relationship management, credit or financial services.
• Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good analytical, organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• UAE‑recognised university degree (minimum three years) with required attestations.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of international trade, foreign exchange, payments or cash management.
• Understanding of credit, KYC, compliance and operational risk controls.
