Assistant Relationship Manager – Mortgage (Retail Banking)

About the role

The Assistant Relationship Manager will support the Mortgage division of the Retail Banking Group, focusing on acquiring high‑net‑worth mortgage customers and driving business growth. You will work closely with real‑estate partners, approved brokers and internal teams to meet sales targets while ensuring full compliance with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire high‑net‑worth mortgage customers for the bank and consistently exceed monthly KPI and sales targets.
• Lead mortgage business development initiatives with targeted segments, real‑estate partners, approved brokers and in residential and commercial projects.
• Ensure strict adherence to KYC and AML policies as defined by the bank.
• Maintain full accreditation for selling conventional and Islamic mortgage solutions.
• Record all sales activities in daily sales reports and keep the CRM updated with leads and contacts.
• Participate in team activities such as morning huddles, training, coaching sessions and mandatory compliance and fraud trainings.
• Monitor market intelligence, internal needs and competitor activity to inform strategy.
• Attend product and sales workshops to maintain professional and technical knowledge and ensure control requirements are met.

Required profile

• Fully accredited to sell both conventional and Islamic mortgage products.
• Strong understanding of KYC/AML regulations and bank compliance standards.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a banking or financial services environment.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and preparing daily sales reports.
