Assistant Training Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal is seeking an Assistant Training Manager to support employee development and ensure high‑quality service delivery. You will work closely with the Training Manager to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that align with the brand’s standards and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and communicate all training initiatives to staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Assist in conducting needs assessments, designing curricula, and facilitating both custom and corporate training sessions.
• Monitor enrollment, attendance, and participant progress; gather feedback to measure training effectiveness.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to verify that trainees demonstrate required technical and leadership competencies.
• Support the development and management of training budgets and program plans, adjusting methodologies as needed.
• Observe service behaviors on the floor, providing constructive feedback to individuals and managers.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field + 1 year HR or related experience, **or** a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with a certified trainer qualification (no experience required).
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and hospitality service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
