Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Finance (Online)

About the role

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) seeks dynamic scholars to join its fully online Finance faculty. The position is resident, full‑time, and involves teaching, research, and active participation in campus life.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate Finance courses in an asynchronous or synchronous online format.
• Design and continuously update digital course materials, integrating emerging topics such as digital transformation.
• Conduct high‑impact research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals, and pursue external funding.
• Supervise Ph.D. dissertations and mentor students in rigorous research methods.
• Participate in on‑campus meetings, committees, and community initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (Ph.D.) in Finance or a closely related field, or clear evidence of completion before start date.
• Demonstrated record of scholarly publications and research activity.
• Commitment to online pedagogy and to residing in the UAE.
• Willingness to engage in on‑site university events and service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with online teaching platforms and digital course development tools.
