Associate – Credit (UAE National Graduate Program)

About the role

Emirates Investment Bank is seeking a UAE national graduate to join its Credit team as an Associate. The role is part of the Ethraa graduate programme, combining on‑the‑job experience with a six‑month structured training journey at the Emirates Institute of Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating real‑estate‑backed lending proposals, reviewing property valuations and collateral quality.
• Support the calculation and validation of Loan‑to‑Value (LTV) ratios for equity release and Lombard lending, applying internal policy thresholds and stress scenarios.
• Contribute to structuring equity‑release or top‑up financing proposals against existing property holdings.
• Prepare and help draft Credit Proposal Notes for private‑banking clients.
• Analyze client financial profiles, including income streams, net‑worth statements and liquidity positions.
• Monitor collateral values and margin calls, especially during volatile market conditions.
• Track covenants and exposure limits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Liaise with Relationship Managers to gather necessary information and support client interactions.

Required profile

• UAE national graduate with a strong interest in banking and credit analysis.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess financial and real‑estate data.
• Willingness to participate in a structured training programme and pursue professional certifications.
• Effective communication skills to work with Relationship Managers and internal teams.
