Associate – Government and Public Institutions (Dubai/Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Associate to join its Government and Public Institutions practice in the UAE. The role will support the firm’s expansion in the public sector across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, working directly with senior client teams to address strategic challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Break down complex client problems into manageable work‑streams and guide junior consultants.
• Plan, execute and synthesize analyses to identify core issues and develop actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with clients and project teams to drive project progress and deliver high‑impact solutions.
• Lead small project teams through hypothesis generation, data collection, analysis and solution convergence.
• Ensure recommendations are practical, relevant and aligned with client objectives.

Required profile

• University degree with strong academic record.
• Experience in management consulting or related analytical roles, preferably in the public sector.
• Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and communicate insights clearly.
• Strategic thinking and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.

Required skills

• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
