Associate Lawyer

About the role

The Associate Lawyer will join Neo Legal Industry’s Dubai office to support partners in advising corporate, blockchain and commercial clients. The role involves drafting and reviewing contracts, transaction documents, governance frameworks and compliance policies while liaising with Chinese‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, memoranda and regulatory filings.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, transaction documents and governance frameworks.
• Assist partners in advising on corporate, commercial and blockchain matters.
• Manage case files, coordinate with external stakeholders and authorities.
• Participate in client meetings and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality work.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognised institution; admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Strong research, drafting and analytical abilities.
• Knowledge of corporate and commercial law; familiarity with blockchain/technology regulations is a plus.
• Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) and strong English proficiency.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client‑facing skills.
• High attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
