Associate Merchandise Planner

About the role

The Associate Merchandise Planner will optimise sales, margin and inventory by building accurate forecasts, managing Open-to‑Buy (OTB) and translating commercial strategy into balanced stock and supply plans across channels.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain demand forecasts, OTB and inventory plans in collaboration with Buying, Finance, Retail and Ecommerce teams.
• Develop stock and supply plans by brand and channel, oversee store allocation and replenishment, and support S&OP processes.
• Challenge buyers on new‑product forecasts, manage markdown and liquidation plans, and monitor key KPIs such as sell‑through, inventory levels and OTIF.
• Lead and mentor Merchandise Planners and Allocators, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in merchandise or supply planning, preferably in retail or fashion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with planning tools such as Blue Yonder or SAP.
• Knowledge of inventory management, OTB calculations and markdown planning.
