Audit & Assurance Manager – Deloitte UAE

About the role

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance Manager to join its UAE team. In this position you will lead audit engagements, ensure high‑quality delivery, and build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review documentation of transaction flows and test relevant controls early in the audit cycle.
• Provide constructive challenge on engagement issues while balancing stakeholder needs.
• Suggest mitigating testing when controls are ineffective and apply professional scepticism to assess fraud risk and potential misstatements.
• Participate in group risk assessment, prepare referral instructions, and evaluate component auditor responses.
• Maintain file checks throughout the audit, manage engagement timelines, and communicate expectations to the audit team and client management.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk‑based audit approaches.
• Experience in leading audit teams and coordinating group engagements.
• Excellent communication skills to convey project plans and dependencies.
