Barista – Dubai, Business Bay

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join our hotel’s beverage team in Business Bay, Dubai. The role goes beyond preparing coffee – you will create a memorable guest experience by delivering high‑quality drinks and attentive service in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is functional.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Engage with guests, anticipate their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
• Adhere to health, safety and hygiene regulations, and follow company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with hotel teams and local partners to stay updated on beverage trends and guest preferences.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a coffee shop, bar or similar food‑and‑beverage setting.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lb.

Required skills

• Cash handling and point‑of‑sale operation.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and beverage preparation.
