Barista

About the role

Dorchester Collection is hiring a Barista for its Food & Beverage/Restaurant division in Dubai. The role covers the day-to-day beverage operations of the F&B outlet, with a strong focus on hot drinks such as coffee, tea and other beverages. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day beverage operations of the F&B outlet so guests receive the best possible experience.
• Assist in creating and maintaining the hotel's beverage menu, with a focus on hot beverages including coffee and tea.
• Design and curate bespoke beverage menus featuring specialty coffees, rare teas and custom infusions.
• Train and mentor the entire restaurant team on coffee, raising their knowledge and latte art skills.
• Lead daily pre-service briefings to align the team with guest arrivals and upcoming bespoke services.
• Collaborate with supporting departments to keep the area impeccably presented and well maintained.
• Ensure high-quality beverage preparation, presentation, quality control and inventory control together with the service team.
