Bartender – Luxury Hotel Bar

About the role

The Bartender at The Meydan Hotel will craft high‑quality alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service in a 5‑star luxury environment. You will create classic and signature cocktails, engage guests with personalized recommendations, and uphold the hotel’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve classic and innovative cocktails, fresh garnishes, and syrups with strict recipe consistency.
• Welcome guests warmly, provide personalized beverage suggestions, and apply suggestive selling techniques.
• Manage daily opening and closing procedures, maintain stock levels, assist with inventory counts, and control beverage costs.
• Ensure bar area, equipment, and glassware are sanitized and compliant with HACCP and local health regulations.
• Collaborate with culinary and service teams for food‑beverage pairings and support high‑volume shifts and private events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or equivalent.
• In‑depth knowledge of international spirits, wines, beers, liqueurs and mixology techniques.
• Proven expertise in advanced cocktail preparation, presentation and seasonal menu development.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle feedback and drive upselling.
• Flexible availability for shift work, weekends and holidays.
