Bartender – Noia by the Pool

About the role

The Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai is seeking an experienced Bartender to join the Noia by the Pool Greek restaurant team. You will craft creative beverages, support service staff, and uphold the high standards of a luxury hotel bar.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, non‑alcoholic drinks, spirits, beers and wines according to outlet standards.
• Set up the bar each shift, manage inventory and ensure all ingredients and equipment are ready.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and report issues to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including deep cleaning and proper product labeling.
• Assist in developing new drink concepts for promotions and operate the POS system for order processing.

Required profile

• Minimum High School qualification; a degree or HND in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience as a bartender in a high‑end bar and 2 years in a luxury hotel/resort environment.
• Strong English communication skills; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of bar service procedures, spirits and cocktail preparation.
