About the role
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is hiring a full-time bartender for its Palm Jumeirah property in Dubai. The role is non-management and focuses on building a memorable guest experience: bartenders are described as both beverage experts and hosts who take ownership of guest service beyond the bar.
Key responsibilities
- Mix drinks and keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly
- Stay up to date with new trends and micro-local offerings, and adapt to guests' evolving needs
- Build relationships with colleagues across the hotel and within the community to anticipate and meet guest needs
- Handle cash accurately and give guests accurate information
- Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and present a professional uniform and appearance
- Work on your feet and move around, lifting and carrying objects of up to 25 pounds and reaching overhead and below the knees
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- At least 1 year of related work experience
- No supervisory experience required
- No license or certification required
